This month, Buffalo-based STEM education company Thimble is offering a series of four free 1-hour workshops for middle and high schoolers to learn STEM skills when you purchase one of their beginner kits. Here is a link to sign up.

Upon purchasing a kit ($99), you’ll receive an email to schedule a workshop. With this special COVID-19 package, you’ll get access to 1 kit, 12 projects, and 4 instructor-led workshops.
In the kit you’ll find several sensors and parts. Examples of projects include a music composer and intruder alarm. These projects are suitable for kids in grades 4-12, and younger kids can build projects with parents.
