Have you heard? Due to Covid-19, we’ve temporarily changed our motto to “Stay In, Buffalo”.  And for the foreseeable future we will be posting content that shares how our community can continue to support local businesses while adhering to guidelines set by the CDC.

Unfortunately due to COVID-19, the on-stage version of QUICKIES was cancelled this year. But that isn’t stopping Alleyway from giving the people what they want.

Alleyway will present the plays in episode form live via YouTube over the coming weeks, starting Sunday, April 19, 2020 at 11 am. Tune in to every Sunday morning for a world premiere short play each week.

Five of the plays are world premieres by Buffalo playwrights, including Darleen Pickering Hummert, Justin Karcher, Mark C. Lloyd, Samantha Marchant, and j.Snodgrass. The final play is by 2019 Maxim Mazumdar Prize Winner Collin I. Hood.

Director Joyce Stilson brings together a cast featuring Smirna Mercedes, David C. Mitchell, Kate Olena, Matthew Rittler, and Michael Starzynski.
