If you’ve made the trip from Buffalo to Ellicottville along the 219, then you know after miles of empty roadway, one of the first things you’ll see upon entering the village is Steelbound Brewery & Distillery. While the brewery alone is already pretty impressive, they’ve recently announced plans for a major expansion in the area.

With Ellicottville becoming more of a year round destination, Steelbound is adding hospitality to their brewing and distilling operations. So what exactly doe this entail?

With plans in store for early 2024, Steelbound will begin the process of development for a 75-room hotel, conference center, and event space. Connecting the new hotel space with the current brewery will be a skybridge which will offer guests a unique perspective of the region and nearby attractions.

As for the brewery, the project also entails adding a barrel complex and grain silos to their existing operating facility to further their storage capacity.

This announcement could mean not only more accommodations for those looking to visit Ellicottville but also, more jobs opportunities in the region.

Pretty exciting huh? Be sure to stay tuned to Steelbound’s Facebook for more updates as they become available!
