In recent years, street art projects have been popping up all over WNY filling our region with colorful murals and plenty of photo opportunities. In continuing this trend, a very special artist traveled all the way from Australia to add to our art scene, and Buffalo Rising stepped in to get all the details.
In their article, Buffalo Rising interviewed local artist, Jesse Zuefle who had reached out to the anonymous iconic street artist under the name of Tabby, to collaborate on 20 projects in WNY.

The article explains, “International street artist – Tabby – has paid a whirlwind visit to Buffalo, while creating upwards of 20 stencil-spray works in the process. The artist, who hails from Austria, teamed up with one of Buffalo’s own – Jesse Zuefle – who toured him around the city. It took five days to complete the brush-up process, and over 50 hours.”
Tabby has a very identifiable art style that mimics tactics of pop art, using a layered stencil process. His work is whimsical in humor but can also have an underlying meaning to it as well.
Next time you’re on the hunt for new street art, be sure to look out for his creations around town and be sure to check out the full article and interview from Buffalo Rising!
