CountryLiving Magazine recently rounded up the 50 Best Hiking Spots in the U.S. including one from each state, and WNY made the list!

Devil’s Hole State Park was listed as the best hiking spot in New York State and one of the best 50 nationwide. Devil’s Hole State Park is located in Niagara Falls, NY and is 42 acres of breathtaking beauty.

“It’s more likely that you’ve been to Niagara Falls for the main event: the three waterfalls that sit along the border between New York and Canada. But for a new experience, head to Devil’s Hole State Park. There, you’ll get to see powerful whitewater rapids and walk by awe-inspiring overlooks.”

Anyone who has been to Devil’s Hole State Park can agree the view of the rapids is pretty spectacular, so we couldn’t agree more about this destination making the list!
