The feedback we have received has accurately reflected Western New York’s passion about chicken wings. Keep the opinions coming!
Today’s topic involves the ten best places at which to eat chicken wings with your family. These are the types of places you would feel comfortable visiting with children that go out of their way to be “family friendly” eateries that serve chicken wings.
Feel free to visit any of these establishments yourself and then share your opinions on YOUR favorite local places to go with your family to eat wings.

5433 Transit Road / Clarence / Northtowns  |  (716) 247-5272

Hospitality is stressed here, which makes it the ideal place to come with your children. What I like the best is the variety of sitting options. You can plop down on one of their couches to take a load off and keep things cozy, take a seat at their family-style barstools tables or settle in at one of their standard tabletops. The can’t miss dish is their specialty wood oven roasted chicken wings, which are marinated in lemon, olive oil, garlic and herbs and then slow-roasted in their wood-fired oven.

3715 Genesee Street / Cheektowaga |  (716) 634-1780

Tremendous atmosphere with the ideal casual dining set up for the entire family. After you have a couple of plates from their awesome salad bar, order up some “tail gating saucy Cajun” chicken wings for the whole crew.

65 Webster Street / North Tonawanda / Niagara County |  (716) 692-4837

Fun place for the family to come watch a sports event, especially on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. I highly recommend the raspberry barbecue boneless chicken wings. Trust me, the kids will love them.

55 Crosspoint Parkway / Amherst / Northtowns  |  (716) 625-7100

Extremely comfortable, this is an ideal friendly restaurant with a fun atmosphere and tremendous customer service. They have some exceptional recipes for their chicken wings, including the perfectly named “pants on the ground extra hot.”

2201 Hyde Park Boulevard / Niagara Falls / Niagara County  |  (716) 298-4028

Located just a few minutes away from Hyde Park and Niagara University Ice Rinks, they have an upstairs banquet room, which I think would make the ideal site for a casual family reunion celebration. They have great wings. Try them “Quiggy style.” Trust me.

40 Buffalo Street / Hamburg / Southtowns  |  (716) 648-4750

There are now nine different locations in Western New York, but I will speak specifically about the Hamburg location, where I have dined many times and have seen numerous families enjoy meals. Spacious booths inside and an impressive list of ice cream flavors to pick from for dessert, but not before you have an order of their barbecue chicken wings.

2810 Union Road / Cheektowaga  |  (716) 685-4422

One of the jewels of the Northtowns, Torella’s food is always consistent, with their chicken and pizza specials ideal for the whole family. That being said, any flavor of their boneless wings must be consumed when you bring everyone in for an enjoyable meal.

6506 Campbell Boulevard / Lockport / Niagara County |  (716) 625-6800

I have only been to this establishment once and based on that visit, I highly recommend this family-owned, family-operated business. They go out of their way to take care of their customers, especially families. Dining in here is a real treat, especially their Thai chili chicken wings and their honey barbecue parmesan wings.

677 Ridge Road / Lackawanna / Southtowns  |  (716) 827-8750

Located right next to the Lackawanna Post Office, this quaint little eatery is a popular destination for takeout and pick-up orders for residents of Lackawanna, Blasdell and South Buffalo. But there also is a nice seating area for you to bring in the family and have a meal. Dynamite chicken wings. I highly recommend the honey mustard or garlic parmesan flavors.
