When it comes to craft beer, the push to #thinkNYdrinkNY is so much bigger than Buffalo.
There’s a statewide effort to support local craft breweries thanks to groups like The New York State Brewers Association and Think NY, Drink NY.
The New York State Brewers Association aka NYSBA is a non-profit organization that protects and supports the industry through advocacy, education, and promotion and Think NY, Drink NY represents the enthusiast side of NYSBA.
Together, they are completely committed to unifying craft breweries throughout the entire state and connecting them with the craft beer enthusiasts (like us) who want to support them! New York State even has a state-specific hashtag and a special stamp you’ll find on cans when you’re shopping for beer.
This fall the NYSBA is excited to be teaming up with the Western NY Brewers Guild to present a huge craft beer celebration! The New York State Craft Brewers Festival is happening on Saturday, September 25 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Canalside.
Craft breweries from every corner of the state will be attending! This festival is the ideal opportunity to meet the people who make the beers you love because the owners and brewers from more than 45 breweries will be the ones pouring samples.
Plus, there will be local food trucks, artisan vendors, and a farm-to-pint tent.
Your ticket includes event admission, of course! Plus, a commemorative tasting glass and unlimited 3-ounce beer samples. Tickets are $55 if you get them in advance. There might be tickets available the day of, but there’s a high chance that this festival sells out before then.
If you’d want to attend and not drink, there’s designated driver tickets available for $15 and include bottled water.
