How many Greek diners do we have in Buffalo? Answer: A LOT. It takes compiling them to comprehend just how many there truly are. Buffalo’s abundance of Greek eateries can be attributed to the large number of Greek immigrants who settled in the area. They left their posterity with a legacy of delicious food that, because of its abundance, we sometimes take for granted. We can drive down just about any stretch of road and find somewhere — oftentimes a few places — that serve exemplary souvlaki. If you’re someone who enjoys platters of tender, marinated beef or chicken atop a bountiful bed of lettuce, with a warmed, pillowy soft pita on the side, then take heart.
