With more restrictions lifted in Western New York, everyone is itching to get out and do something, anything. Even if it is exercising. It may not be everyones favorite thing to do, but our city and local businesses have provided plenty of options, especially when it comes to yoga classes this summer.

3. Free Yoga in Parks with Vibe Yoga Lab
Vibe Yoga Lab is offering 8 weeks of free yoga classes at Firemans Park in Depew. Social distancing will be in full affect, and it’s a great way to enjoy the warm summer weather outside.

4. SUP Yoga with SUP Erie Adventures
A fun and beautiful way to find your zen, SUP Yoga with SUP Erie Adventures is a combination of yoga and stand up paddle boarding. You’ll start class with brief instruction on paddle technique and paddle out to a nearby protected area on the river where your SUP will be anchored. Then you’re guided through breathing techniques, basic sun salutations, and flow into more challenging postures on the water. All levels are welcome.

5. Yoga at Hoyt Lake
Rondinelli Real Estate will be sponsoring Yoga at Hoyt Lake every Wednesday through August 19th. Yoga instructor Alisa Tiburzi will be holding class at the Rose Garden at 5:30 p.m. Please observe social distancing and be sure to bring your mask.

Bonus! Aqua Lane Park Pop Up Pilates
Okay, so this isn’t a yoga class, it’s a Pilates class. But we’re guessing you still want to know more, right?
Coremmunity ‘s first Outdoor Pop Up Pilates Class is for all levels class with modifications for beginners and advanced alike. Your host Hanna from Coremmunity will be taking you through a full body flow with a focus on neck and shoulder postural alignment as well as core activation which includes abdominals, back extensors, pelvic floor, hips and glutes.

Okay so this one isn’t in person, but we thought it was worth mentioning in case you’re wanting to stay close to (aka at) home. The YMCA is holding a “Fitness in the Parks: Home Edition Class” and “Virtual Classes” for yoga one to two times a week! Join from the comfort of your own home!
