Here in Western New York, we pride ourselves on having a thriving arts and entertainment scene. And if you’re a music-lover who’s ideal night is catching a concert or musical performance at a local venue— keep reading.

Located in West Falls, New York, The West Falls Arts Center is a local arts venue and organization that’s dedicated to offering visual, culinary, performing, and healing arts to their rural community.

Not only do they help keep the arts accessible to all, but The West Falls Arts Center also helps encourage collaboration and growth between amateur and professional artists to help foster creativity, education, and arts appreciation for years to come.

But that’s not all The West Falls Arts Center has to offer. They’re kicking off the new year with two exciting events, which include musical performances from nationally-renowned vocalists.

Here’s everything you need to know about these two upcoming events:

Jay Dref

Friday, February 11th at 7PM

Born and raised in Western New York, Jay Dref is a renowned performer and a graduate of Julliard who has taken the stage at numerous venues across North America, including Lincoln Center, The Burchfield Penney Art Center, The Chautauqua Institution, Alice Tully Hall, The Peter Jay Sharp Theatre, and more.

Dref has been a featured soloist with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra in addition to participating in musical theatre productions around the country. Dref is also featured regularly on television and radio on ABC Channel 7, the TCT Network, The Celebrity Page, VH1, and more.

Dref is fresh off tour where he had the incredible honor and huge opportunity to perform solo as well as share the stage with Sarah Brightman in duet performances. Dref will now be joined by the voice of WNY’s Claire Weisenburger, and both will be accompanied by Ken Kaufman, a member of the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame and the area’s most prolific composer. It’s truly a can’t-miss event!
