Cards by C designs and illustrations
There’s a lot to consider when putting together the perfect Valentine’s Day date. First there’s the fact that “the perfect date” is completely subjective, so you’ve got to know a little bit about your subject. You’re on your own there. But once you have a handle on what he/she wants, we’re there for ya babe.
Step 1: Find the ideal romantic restaurant. Whether you’re looking to drink fine wine and dress to impress or ready to explore the edgier romantic restaurants in town, we’ve got lists up your alley. For those of you hoping to extend your day, consider collecting a few ideas from these wintery date recommendations. Ice skating may sound cliche but in our experience, it works every time, if you know what I mean. And if you’re hoping to kick things up a notch, we suggest checking out for the night by checking in overnight at one of these romantic, nearby hotels.
We don’t mean to go overboard here (read: yes we do), but you can’t show up to your epic date empty handed. If you’re beau has a sweet tooth (or a pulse for that matter), send for some gourmet hand-made truffles by Blue Table Chocolates, a Buffalo start-up circa 2014. When we said you can’t show up empty handed, we meant it whole-heartedly. But just because we’re going overboard, doesn’t mean you have to. Sweets and a thoughtful card can go a long way. The must-get left on your V-day list is a fabulously clever and locally crafted valentine by C designs and illustrations. We’re in love with all of Christa’s cards, but her most recent Valentines top the charts. We suggest ordering all four pictured above and showering your Valentine with love throughout year. Pick them up at the Larkin Market on 2/13 from 10-2, Buffalo Adore or Park Edge Sweet Shoppe or online.
