Can you walk the walk?
For the tenth year in a row the Food Bank of Western New York is challenging you to grab the gang, double knot those sneaks, and walk off hunger with style. On Saturday, July 29th, the tenth annual Walk Off Hunger stroll will take place in Williamsville’s gorg Island Park.
Beginning at 10am (no excuses for you sleepyheads), Western New Yorkers will take a two-mile scenic stroll through the Village of Williamsville and all its quaintness. But that’s not all – stick around after the walk until 2pm for some family festival food & fun. Hair toss for that alliteration.

With bounce houses, live music and entertainment, raffles, activities for the kiddos, noms and more, this is one after party you don’t want to miss.
Fun gets even funner when it’s helping lives amirite? All proceeds from you and your friends at the Walk Off Hunger will benefit the Food Bank of WNY. Every month the food bank distributes nutritious food to as many as 135,000 individuals in Western New York and every $1 raised helps the Food Bank of WNY provide 6 meals for our neighbors in need, what a boss.
For the last nine years, the Walk Off Hunger has helped provide nearly 2.9 million meals to hungry families, seniors and children in our community. Now that’s a lot of noms.
Grab your squad and run, don’t walk (you can walk when you get there) to Williamsville’s Island Park on the 29th.
