Here’s What to Expect at the 2020 Buffalo Auto Show

The 2020 Buffalo Auto Show is presented by Exxpress Tire Delivery! This year’s show will run from Thursday, February 6 through Sunday, February 9 at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center in Downtown Buffalo. 

This family-friendly event is fun for all ages. Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants and Gigamaxx will be there! The kids will enjoy special weekend appearances by this famous seafaring cartoon character and memorable 7-foot robot, while you have the chance to browse both floors of the Convention Center.  

There’s a reason why people call it WNY’s premier automotive event. Nearly every new car brand sold in Western New York will be on display. New this year, there’s an  electrification (EV) display called Energy Zone featuring electric vehicle brands and alternative energy sources of the future.

Here’s the weekly line-up:  

Thursday, 2/6: Heels & Wheels 

This ladies night will benefit Susan G. Komen Upstate New York and John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital. You can expect stunning displays and many delights! 

Friday, 2/7: SHIP featuring Fortnite

Live streaming from the Buffalo Auto Show, with a chance for you to squad up with SHIP!  

Saturday, 2/8: Hops & Horsepower

Enjoy craft beer samplings and new reveals from Buffalocal brands and Consumers Beverages.

Saturday 2/8 and Sunday 2/9: Family Fundays 

Make it a family fun day! Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants and Gigamaxx will be in attendance. 

This year’s show will feature SUVs, hybrids, electric, high performance and economical cars, trucks, minivans, and more from 34 participating manufacturers. You’ll also have the chance to enjoy specialty cars, including a replica 1964 Shelby Cobra and a U.S. Army Humvee!

Pre-Sale Tickets Available Now 

Pre-sale is the move because individual tickets are only $8 and family 4-packs are $30. Tickets are available now at Tops, Consumer Beverages and Dash’s. Children 5 years and under do not need a ticket for this event. 

In recognition of the charitable organizations Buffalo Auto Show works with, there are special pre-sale purchase discounts available on behalf of the Susan G. Komen Upstate New York and John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital Foundations.

P.S. Event attendees will have two (2) chances to win a brand-new vehicle each day of the Buffalo Auto Show. Yes, you read that right.  There is a chance to win one (1) of six (6) new vehicles! 

Don’t Miss The Preview Party

Heels & Wheels aka the new car dealers of WNY Charitable Foundation’s annual charity preview party is happening on Wednesday, February 5 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center. 

The party proceeds will benefit Susan G. Komen Upstate New York and John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital Foundations, as well as Explore & More Children’s Museum, Wings Flights of Hope, and other local community organizations. 

This event will feature a stunning array of 2020 vehicles, gourmet food stations, premium brand liquors, wine and cheese tastings, craft beer sampling, a martini luge, and live entertainment. Complimentary valet parking is included. Interested? Learn more here.
