Loving on local is basically our favorite pastime. So naturally, when there’s an event involving good food and drinks for an amazing cause we’re allllll over it.
For the sixth year, Independent Health Foundation is presenting a truly Buffalo fundraising experience. AKA there will be food, there will be drinks, there will be access to the waterfront, and there will be the opportunity to live up to that whole “city of good neighbors” nickname.
At Taps and Apps, you’ll get to try food and drink samples from your favorite (or soon-to-be favorite) local restaurants, wineries, breweries, and distilleries! We’re talking sample tastes from Ellicottville Brewing, Hamburg Brewing, CB Craft Brewers, Midgard Winery, Ten Thousand Vines, Victorianbourg Wine Estate, Zugibe Vineyards, Buffalo Distilling, Tuk Tea, and Bootleg Bucha. One of everything, please!
But wait, there’s more! Every sample you try will be vetted by our friends at Healthy Options, meaning participating restaurants at Taps and Apps are be serving up samples that are so delicious, you’ll forget they are healthy.
We’re super excited about the cause, too! Proceeds from Taps and Apps benefit the Foundation’s initiatives to combat childhood obesity including, Fitness for Kids Challenge, Soccer for Success, and Kids Run. BUT, while the cause is for the kids, this event is 21+ only.
If you’ve missed out the past five years, don’t make the same mistake this time around. As if food and drinks weren’t enough, there will also be live music, silent auctions, vendors, and more.
This event is made possible thanks to incredible local sponsors. Let’s give an extra shout out to the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo RiverWorks for showing their support as VIP sponsors.
Tickets are only $30 for Independent Health members. General admission for non-members is $35, and limited VIP tickets are $60 which includes a private VIP area, swag bags, and additional exclusive drinks.
Food + drinks + charity = 100% need to be there! Friends – clear your calendars for Sept. 28th and get those tickets now.
